Tickets and TESOL

Ok, so this is Alix just starting this blog without Jace because I am so excited but am not allowed to tell anyone... yet...

On Sunday Night we booked our one-way flights to Santiago, Chile!!! Only 96,000 Frequent Flyer Points (+$311 in taxes) for two adult economy tix. (Normally it would've cost us around $5,000). We leave on April 1, just before Easter. My family friends, the Vargases, have generously offered their home as our first (free!) accommodation in Santiago - thanks Carmen & Luis!

We went to an information session last night about TESOL courses and signed up. We're doing the in-class component of the course July 8-12, which is really soon. It should be intense, but I'm looking forward to using my brain again and brushing up on my grammar.

In other news, I have started re-reading the Lonely Planet chapter on Chile - I'm feeling very inspired at the moment!
